DND4500 Memo Error...?

Hi All,

Please can anyone shed some light on this please!

When I power up the unit all is normal then as it boots up you get 'DENON DND4500' displayed on the screens followed by Memo Error in both screens.

What is this? I can find no reference in the manual or anywhere else come to that.

Is there a reset procedure I can follow to clear this error or does the unit need servicing?

Go into your -preset mode and clear out your memo's.


Memo Clear (MEMO ALL CLEAR) :
NOTE: This PRESET item can be only performed in CD1 (left side) of the remote controller.
Clear all MEMO data in the non-volatile memory.

To clear all MEMO data, push the TRACK SELECT knob o down.

• “Clear OK?” flashes on the character display.
Push the TRACK SELECT knob o down again and select “OK” to execute clearing all MEMO data.

• “Memo Clear” is displayed on the character display while clearing.
Once clearing is completed, “Complete!” is displayed.
